Where do you play somebody with high intelligence, but low consistency? I have a few guys like that, but am hesitant to play them at MLB or Safety, in case there low consistency led to missed tackles.

Defensive Ends, where two are trying to sack the QB, and only one needs to get him, I reckon would be good contenders for low consistency. Likewise, Wide Receivers, where only one needs to be on fire to make the other team's life a mess, or even running backs, if you use two in your offence. Kick returners too, as it needs a little extra to get a decent return in. Punters probably don't suffer too much with low consistency either, but I wouldn't have a kicker with one.

Also, if you're playing a team that's better than you, a QB with low consistency is a better bet than one with the same skills and high consistency, so it may be useful to have such a player on the roster for a big cup game.

I don't know whether this is right or not, but I view consistency as a talent drain. So, I'd almost rather have a 4* BPOS player with 20 consistency than a 4.5* BPOS with 1 consistency.
