My (Bpos) OL has 6 tackle and 1 blocking. Does putting him at OT benefit from his tackle skills or are OT just a blocking position?

The OT blocks, but does not tackle. The tackle skill will not help him. You may want to consider moving him to DL.

Ok, i was going to but i had to confirm my query. However, if they dont tackle why do they all it OT-Tackle and not OB- Block?

I dont really watch NFL here in Australia, and i am not too sure if it is allowed for a player to tackle when in defence..If they use their hands and grab , is it a penalty?

If they grab with their hands, it is a penalty called "holding", but there aren't penalties in GI.

"Tackle" is just the name for the position. The offensive line lines up OT-OG-C-OG-OT (tackles on the outside), which is even more confusing considering the defense lines up DE-DT-DT-DE (tackles on the inside). Plus, the fullback lines up behind the quarterback but in front of the halfback.

The game has evolved over the years, but the names don't seem to change much for the positions.
