I guess I'm going to have to study this a bit closer, but so far from my experience, I've seen no evidence that higher talent gain BPOS any faster than low talent. Some of my 3.5 star talent players seem to gain BPOS as fast or faster than my 4.5 and 5 star talent players.

Again this is the way it seems to me at this time. I've just started serious tracking of this information and will hopefully have more accurate information in a few months.

I can say with a good bit of certainty that although the odds of a BPOS increase are still random, the likelihood that they gain an increase must go up. I tracked a 3.5* and a 4.5* that were developing OL. I played them both in enough games to get the 1.5* OL BPOS pop, then starting playing them both. The 4.5* player reached 4.5* BPOS(the max for the 3.5*) 4 league games and 3 friendly games before the 3.5*.
