I don't know if someone already posed that question, but instead of searching through 400 pages of forum posts, I ask right away.
Does the natural playing role of a player, as well as his "adequately" and "if needed" role, change due to training or experience? If so, do I receive a message or do I have to check it once in a while?

He can change position by playing matches on the desired position. It will take time but it will change eventually. You will not get a message of this transposition.

If you use GIMS you will see the change in Bpos.

i'm just evaluating which player should play at which position...I haven't yet a great amount of different players, that's why some have to play defense and offense..

I think if they play offense and defense their bpos increases only for defense

As a rule of thumb, for me it seems to take around 12 matches for a player to gain half a point of BPOS.

I thought I had read somewhere that how quickly a player increases BPOS is related to their talent level. Is that true?
