I've got quite a few 4.5/5 star talent players who are uncapped (16/17/18 year olds). Is it best for me to play them in a position I think would suit them (without knowing what there physicals will cap at) to improve there BPOS or not play them at all until there physicals cap/ are high enough to play in that position.

I'm in a lower league (if that has any bearing on your answer)

cheers

If anything playing them would improve their TC and once you are sure where you wan to play them you can just start playing them there. There is no real downside to playing players except the scoreline might look different

You got two options in my opinion.

1. If a player got 16+ in an uncapped physical stat, then I am not afraid of playing him at a position where only that specific physical is main. So a potential future CB with 16 speed uncapped could start playing that position in friendlies to get him ready for the grand career that lies ahead of him as a CB on my team

2. If the uncapped physicals are not that high yet, then you can "surf" the players around on different positions to avoid them getting too high in one specific position, yet still gain TC.

If they are 4.5 or 5* players, subtract 1 pt for strength and/or speed from what YOU believe to be high enough to play any certain position. Once they reach that, get them in there. So, if you think 18 is the strength number for OL, I'd get playing them when they pop 16 uncapped and thus assuring you they will hit 17. BPOS potential is well worth sacrificing a point on strength and/or speed
