why do you guys put the faster guys on tackle?
Could you also not argue that pulling guards would need more speed?

(i know there probably is no pulling in GI)

Faster guys seem to get a better rating at tackle

In real football, I think Tackles are generally faster and quicker than Guards. Speed is probably more important when keeping up with DEs than it is pulling on running plays.

No...they're roughly the same speed and quickness-wise irl. The only difference is that Tackles tend to be taller.

If you toggle between Guards and Tackles, you can see the 40-time (speed) and the shuttle/cones (quickness) are roughly the same if you average it out.

The sample size might be a little low since I'm only looking at one year, but I'm pretty sure it's fairly representative of what you'd normally find.

I concur with TP. They both need a pretty decent amount of speed for completely different reasons, guards for pulling and tackles for blocking quick ends. Agility(cones) would go hand in hand with both examples as well. So irl, not much of a difference at all..
