i noticed in the help/FAQ section that injury updates are at 2am server time. Does this update players health if he has recovered from his injury?

Yes,
As the no of recovery days goes below a certain value your player's healt moves from injured to bad to good to superb i beleive.

i have a player get injured last training update. but only for 5 days. weird but good as i was still able to use him. normally the injuries are for 14 days or more.
