Hi,

firstly: I know why you want to get paid for supporter packages and I do think, people deserve the money for various reasons.

However, in Grid-Iron-Case I would like to have the option of a 2 week or 1 months supporter package.

3 months at least is too much as we are all in a game which is getting changed, modified and developted.

Any chance to chance the time of the supportership?

If so, you might get more people in getting a "Starter-Pack"

Just my 2 cents

Markus

I know what you mean, but trust me when I say that for 2 weeks or 1 month package, the cost would be so small that the cost on our side (Percentage for each transaction, tax...) would practically put us back to 0.

I do understand that, but unfortunatly I am not becoming a supporter for 7 quid when I dont know where this game/webpage is going?!?!

Not that I dont trust you, but you easily could shut down the webpage after 2 months, for example.

I can understand that, but given that this game is an effort from 3 people working on it continuously for more than 8 months with plans to expand the site and engine gradually, I wouldn't expect us to close the site down after 2 months.

Talking about this, I'm also a little bit scared of the refund policy:

Refund policy
We currently cannot offer refunds for any purchases from www.grid-iron.org online store. All purchases in this online store are seen more as a donation than as a product and/or service purchase, as the money is used to fund the development and upkeep of the game that is freely available to everyone. The costs of refunds are simply to high, compared to the prices, for us to be able to afford them, so we rather opted for the option of giving each and every new member of www.grid-iron.org a free 3-day Supporter account trial period, so he/she can easily decide if the Supporter account is indeed something that he/she would like to have.

I would never expect you giving us our money back in case we don't like the features, or something like that, exactly because, as you say, we become Supporter, because we want to support you.
But what about giving back our money, in case, you guys stop? I know you don't plan to stop, but anything can happen during the first year
If there would be something about that in the refund policy, I would be glad to support you

Our longterm policy does not include shutting down the game any time soon, and we feel that talking about shutting down the game in our refund policy would only send the wrong message to the community.

This game is free of charge and we don't force users to contribute money to the cause. Those who aren't sure can try to get Supporter account through refferals.

Oh, did I mention that we hate legal mambo jumbo?
