I was on th 67m and 33 to go to td. on 4th down they didnt attempt FG as ordered(on 4th attempt fd if <35 yrds) Why didnt they attempt a fg??

You have to add 7 yards for the step-back for the kick and 10 more yards for the end zone. So really 33 yards + 17 yards = a 50 yard field goal attempt.

that be 67y.

for a field goal, you have a 10y end zone, the distance the line of scrimmage to the goal line is, and then 7 yards for the place kicker.

at <35, you'd have to be 18 yards or closer from the goal line.

Also. i punted the ball from 60 and made 28 yrds with a return of 1. Shouldnt the had to start on the 13 yrd line. they started from the 20 yrd line...

You snap the ball back 7 yards as well on punts.

60(really the far 40 yard line)- 7 yards for the snap = 53 yard line the kick is from + 28 yards for the kick = 81 yard line (or the far 19 yard line really) + 1 yard return = 20 yard line.
