I just bought a QB who was being paid $54 p/w in his old team. Do i have to pay him the same amount? If i do this may evedently put me in the red if i dont win some games? i am not paniking now but maybe i soon will. will i have to sell him or what other option do i have. I needed a qb urgently to have a chance in the regional cup and win my season. with only half season to go do i get added funds at the new season or does it keep accumlulating into the next season etc...

Yes that will be his salary and it will seriously hurt your development of your team. Personally I would never have invested in such an expensive player, since I doubt that one player will (despite it being the QB) will have much influence on your season.

I guess it is a matter of preference, since I have planned long term from the beginning in the game.

If there had been a player had around skill level 10 when I started, then I might have gone for him, since his salary would have been 10-11k per week.

Only money you get is end of season winnings, as described in the final section of the FAQ.

Unfortunately it's too little too late as for competing in the Regional Cup this year for ya, but it's the perfect time to start building for next year.

If you want to win your league this season, buy 1 TE and 1 WR with skills of about 9-11 catching and decent other skills, Buy 2 OL to play LT and RT(just need good BPOS strength of 12+ and blocking of 7), and buy a QB with passing of about 10. Put the WR and TE on the same side of the field, and focus your 100% passing game that direction. No one in your league will be able to stop it. Promise.

or save your money sort your team out promote and its a bonus. just buy a WR skill 10 catching and QB 10 passing. if you have a TE then even better. forget the rest and build your team if u want a quick fix, but it wont do u any favours in the long run.

bloody yanks, always think u can buy your way out!!

back to the twinkie bar u dogs.

you say OL -LT and RT with blocking of 7. I have them at 6. i want to focus on their blocking skill to get to 7 early. but OL is offensive tacle not defensive blocking....so i go into defending for blocking! not attacking etc...ok ill just shut up!

Also , my last game i was concentrating on right flank tactics so how come the QB past the ball to my left T/E? Was it a play where the Left T/E ran across the the right side of the field?
