If you are following the "build my team through training rather than TM" strategy
I think it makes sense to have not more than 11 on O + 11 on D+8 on the special teams (+ maybe 2 Offensive backups +2 defensive backups) till you have that set of players at the maximum bpos. I donot see the point in developing replacements when your starters are underdeveloped or around the same age as the rest of your players.

I use this approach. I max out BPOS for my best players, but I'll add younger players to replace anyone in their mid to late 20s. IMO, there's no point in developing two players for the exact same position.

thats cool but try to buy cheap youngsters and you are looking for 2.5* talent minimum and preferably 3.5*+ talent and concentrate your training on fitnees skills to avoid a big wage increase at the end of the season while you are developing your stadium to get your income up. good luck

I don't think you should be telling new players who aren't supporters to train fitness

it doesnt really matter what they train at the beginning. it takes like half the season to raise one point at that point in the game so even if they choose to train a skill, the wages wont increase much.

True that. Actually just over half a season..

Edit: Really, seriously, it does.

thats cool but try to buy cheap youngsters and you are looking for 2.5* talent minimum and preferably 3.5*+ talent and concentrate your training on fitnees skills to avoid a big wage increase at the end of the season while you are developing your stadium to get your income up. good luck

well thats what i did and IMO thats what i recommend doing. if you think they should do something else try posting your opinions here to help them out instead of accusing me of posting bad information

If non supporters train fitness without a coach, it takes a long long time before they realize that a fitness skill is capped. That is at least
100/(.15*(Teamwork+nething else that influences training speed))
sessions wasted before you are sure its capped.
Besides the wage increase without coaches at the end of a season will be minimal.

Thats probably what he meant. And I m sure(scratch that ...i hope) he/someone else has posted this elsewhere long long ago and i m a bit surprised that the post/thought did not pop up anytime you were posting training suggestions or when stacking up a mound of posts
