I doubt I could be bothered starting again if I had to give up a team I'd been playing for years - I'll see what they say at the time

I've played other online games where I waited for less busy countries to get their numbers up and it never seemed to happen. I understand it will continue to be a vicious cycle if nobody stays but I don't really feel 'a part' of the Irish league either. It's a bit like asking a German lad why he's not happy hanging around in the French league. It just isn't his thing...I live in Ireland but still feel like I should be Uk in these things.

not sure moving a team is possible dropping it and startng a new team in new region sounds easy to do though

I appreciate it would be trickier, but I doubt it would be impossible. Of course it would have to be a special circumstance to avoid any risk of abuse (people requesting en masse that they transfer to Oceania or Africa to improve their chances of getting to the Top Division/AFLC) but there are enough bot teams out there that another team could have its ID swapped with to allow this to happen - especially as the admin would be able to see from IP addresses used that the player had indeed moved region.

They've given me the go ahead as well. Perhaps on the old switcheroony (sp).

Obviously just awaiting the changeover too. Probably happens overnight I imagine. You go to bed one night in Ireland, and wake up the next morning faaar away...

i heard that actually happened to a kid once. He was sleep-walking, left his house, and got on a train
