What are you talking about???

Kicker and Punter both require a decent smattering of both skills

And why do you think this?

In RL a K/P needs leg strength to get the distance/ technique to decide the amount of air he needs under the ball. The P could use decent hands for the snap.

You could say the primary skill decides the leg strength and secondary the technique

So maybe next time you should say that it is your guess, but that there is no evidence for that.

I think having both skills allow you to back up the other K/P if he gets injured. As for which one is more important, I would say the Punter as I think field position is slightly more important than seeing your prize kicker miss another 35 yarder. I prefer to have a K and a P, but I will back up train the other kicking skill on each of them for any potential injuries that may come up

I have actually no idea how kicking and punting work in football but they do look like completely different style of kicks so I dont really understand but its ok my kicker is punter too now so I have both as high anyway
