The Great Games Continue on week 1 of the post-season! In this game we had #8 seed Worksop Wedskins against the #1 Chicago Bears. The Bears goal in this game was to get Israel Mendes (star wr) the ball. Well The Skins figured out how to prevent that from happening. Infact Mendes only got 1 TD in the game. " I know 1 TD isn't spectacular but I still led the game in receptions, and yards." Mendes said after the game. He also said that he and the entire Bears offense must do better next week if they'd like to knock off the powerful Owings Mills Golden Eagles. When The Skins head coach was asked about the game, he replied saying " The Boys did good. I know we all wanted to win but c'mon, we gotts tough draw and we gave it our all. " Coach, We know the post-season was short for you guys, but were there any guys who really stood out in the playoffs, and due to there performnace may gain more playing next season?" Sean Chan UK.Sports Reporter asked The Coach. " Well training will have lots to do with it, as-well the cup and our league games. But a couple of guys who really stood out for me were our DL Ryan Lee Ferguson. The guy was a beast and was the main reason that this game was as close as it was. Another guy who impressed me was our WR Tommy LI. He had a sub-par regular season but had a great post-season. He only caught 3 balls but put up 88 yards and averaged 29.something per each reception". The Quarterback of The Skins Aroldo Velho appologized to the fans and promised that he'll be back next season stronger and better then ever. The Bears head coach Clint had this to say after the game " Well, that was a little too close for comfort. I'm not happy with how my boys played and they better show up next week, if they want to make The Bear nation proud and bring home the cup." "Anyone in particular who you were dissapointed in"? TheScore Sports Radio's D.J Bennet asked Clint." " *Cough* Next Question". After that the reporters got the vibe that Clint wasn't in the mood for answering questions and after a couple more questions, The Bears coach left the room. Analysts are saying that Clint and his team aren't the same as they were before this game. " You can tell that he's feeling the pressure even though he's the #1 seed in the cup. He's still chirping as usual but with the tough cup game tommorow and a tough game in the semis next week, Clint isn't feeling as confident as normal" Repporter Chris Boomer tweeted earlier this evening.
