Goal Line Cup Rules:

Make sure to schedule every game. If you miss two games and you do not contact me, you will be out of the cup. You also receive a 28-0 loss for any games missed.

All games must be scheduled by Friday at the end of reset time. If not, the team who did not accept will lose and may face disqualification from the Cup.

Playoffs:

Each conference will send six teams to the playoffs. The top two seeds from each conference will receive a one week bye the first week of the playoffs. Division winners will receive seeds 1-3. The remaining teams with the best record will earn spots 4-6.

Here is the breakdown:

Playoffs week 1:

3 vs. 6 and 4 vs. 5

Playoffs week 2

1 vs. winner of 4 vs. 5

2 vs. winner of 3 vs. 6

Playoffs week 3:

Winner of each of games listed above play for conference championship.

Playoffs week 4:

Each conference winner will play in the Goal Line Cup championship.

Participants in the playoffs will be determined by wins/losses. If wins/losses are the same,division wins will be looked at. After this head to head victories will be used to break any tie. If head to head does not determine it, point differential will be used. The team with the higher point differential will advance.

There will be 6 division games, 6 in conference games, and 2 out of conference games during the regular season.

Welcome to the Goal Line Cup Playoff Breakdown. This is Buddie and I am going to breakdown the Four final teams left in the playoffs. So strap on your seatbelts and lets go!

There are four teams left in the playoffs and they are all great teams and deserve to be where they’re at. The four teams are the Boise State Broncos, the San Diego Chargers, the Mutilated Monkey’s, and the Louisiana Leprechauns.

Boise State Broncos: Going undefeated for 15 games straight is insane, especially with teams as great as the ones in the Goal Line Cup. The Boise State Broncos have showed no mercy and have beaten every team in their way. They are simply just a great team with a great defense and a great Quarterback, Theo Willison (MVP Candidate). I’m not sure if it is their offensive line and wide receivers that are so great or if it’s Theo that is winning these games. Either way, they are a great team and I just can’t see them losing anytime soon. If they don’t win the Championship then I am going to be completely shocked because they are just so good and extremely hard to stop. It’s going to take one heck of a team to beat them or even keep up with them.

San Diego Chargers: The San Diego Chargers have been great all season and that is why they are at where they are right now. I have to say that their defense is really good and one of the best I’ve seen. They just make play after play and they are the reason why the Chargers have been so dominant. Their offense is also really good and they have been getting better every week, so they are going to be very hard to beat. The Chargers have just been great this season and they truly deserve to be where they’re at and it is an honor to be able to play them.

Mutilated Monkey’s: The Mutilated Monkey’s in my mind are the most underrated team in the Goal Line Cup. Simply because other teams have been taking the spotlight away from them and I even forgot about them sometimes. But they are a really good team and they are going to go along way next season just like they did this season. But I’m sorry Monkey’s, you got a bad draw. You have to play against the Boise State Broncos, so that makes you a big underdog. But who knows, the way your team has been playing then maybe you can pull off the biggest upset in Goal Line Cup History.

Louisiana Leprechauns: The Louisiana Leprechauns have even surprised me this season. They have been playing great all season and even if they lose their next game, it was still a great run. The main reason for their success is their Quarterback (Berry Ashworth). He may not have the stats to back that up, but he makes plays when you need him to. And that’s all you can ask for in a quarterback. The Leprechauns face a great defense next week in the San Diego Chargers, so Berry Ashworth will have to be at the top of his game to beat the mighty Chargers. It should be a fun game to watch.

I have interviewed a bunch of different owners in the Goal Line Cup to see what their playoff predictions are, so here they are:

Boise by 30 points and SD by 30 points. SD will sneak the bowl game by 7!!

Ryandinho:

I think that Boise State will beat the Monkeys and will play the Leprechauns in the final, although it will be a close game between them and the Chargers, with only a field goal or TD separating the 2 teams. Then in the final I see Boise State winning again but I think the final will be very close as well

Asgard:

Well, there are some good games, but if I had to bet I guess I'd pick the Leprechauns and Boise to win and play in the championship, and given their record of championships, I'd have to pick Boise to win it all again.
