There really is no reason to use Internet Explorer as you can just get Firefox and the IE Tab addon for the sites that only allow you to use IE on there pages like windows updates

Do you use my computer? I think not.

I agree.

But some people like IE better, and that's their opinion. Personally I've had too many problems with it and Firefox has been great.

I've never felt the need to change - Perhaps I should one day. I just hate people telling me what to do

Guru, you`ve been pretty sour and quick to overreact in your last couple of posts. Don`t take things too personally.

Plus, you`re a moderator. You should have more patience with people. Not everything they write on the forums is a personal insult, intentional stupidity or whatever annoying thing comes to your mind.

Take it easy, try to be a bit more cool with whats being posted and kep up the good work as the forum moderator.

Cheers.

I know. I know! University is pretty tough right now, but that is no excuse! I need to learn to leave this outside of the forum!

Apologies again

Regards.

I've had people tell me to use firefox before too. I don't understand why.
Eventually curiosity got the better of me, and I downloaded it.
But I've never noticed any real difference. The most recent version looks slightly snazzier, but that's about it.

I get the feeling sometimes that it's just the rebel inside us all who wants to give Bill Gates the middle finger...

For me, and this may be a computer problem and not a browser problem, but IE always takes forever to load and runs slow, while Firefox for the most part is a lot faster.

Plus I like all the customization you can do to Firefox.

But yes Guru, no one's telling you you have to change. That's why I even made it a point to say that some people like IE, and that's their opinion. Doesn't bother me one way or the other what you use, I just know that I personally don't like IE.

It is a browser problem!

In all honesty, I've just never considered changing it. I guess I've never thought to, and when people tend to mention it, I have enough on my plate already. On that note, I do have some IE errors....

Not just on here, everywhere. Just thought that should be cleared up before the admins thought that someone was still having problems with the load times.
