It has been awful here no sun, all rain/hail, all lightning and it's even snowed a couple of times

I call no sun and lots of lightning a good thing. The sun hurts my eyes and gives me a headache. I very much prefer clouds.

And well, as we mentioned earlier in the thread last night, thunderstorms are awesome.

I don't mind a good thunderstorm, but I'm getting tired of em'. I play lots of outdoor sports and haven't got to play any

I didn't migrate from Chicago to Central Florida for no reason. Sunshine State gives you plenty of sunshine and it's share of t-storms too. Best of both worlds. Only price you pay is a few hurricanes every now and then

No snow. Major drawback for me. I gotta have me my 4 seasons. I LOVE the extremes of winter and summer. Makes you appreciate fall and spring that much more.

I love the snow, it's all been calculated into my master plan. My older sister lives in Colorado and I go out there every year. I get my fill of snow, my reminder of how invigorating shoveling snow can be and the true cost of driving on ice

Ouch. You mentioned that 3 letter word lol. I LOVE snow. I can do without ice. Ice= bad news. Anyone who lives in areas who get it know this. Anyone who never gets it, consider yourself lucky.

Growing up in Chicago, I've been on many of road trips on the surrounding highways (road trips because driving 20 mph on the highway is basically a "road trip" and witnessed helpless drivers spinning out of control, sometimes disappearing into the medians. You always seemed to be able to see their faces very clearly, very much like a deer caught in headlights

Yuppers, hate driving on the ice, was nearly in a bad accident this winter because of it. Thankfully I caught traction just in time.
