Can't disagree with that, as I feel all of those are important

Footwork puzzles me. If its such a highly regarded skill for defensive positions why is it an Attacking skill in the training .

Agility however features in both...

Clarification on what exacty each means would be nice...and if its so helpful to the defence...make it a selection within the defence set of skill training would be nice

Apparently

Footwork is how good (and fast) a player can move/use his feet and still be stable.

Vision is how the players view the field and how the gameplay will develop

So footwork probably figures in the calcn for both off and def posns
And Vision is more of a off technique than defensive

If Footwork is an Off and Def skill....why is it just in the Off skill set?

? Blocking is a defensive skill...

But from whats been said footwork is both...but only in offensive training

unlike Agility which could be both an offensive and defensive skill and features in both.
