No! Numb Nuts I play in Eurobowl so all my friendlies are not friendlies hence my point????

Woah calm bro, i also play in the Eurobowl, but theres nothing to win in it, its mainly just securing a schedule of friendlies? don't take the bowl too seriously and do your testing in that.

and FYI testing out new formations against bot helps you in no way. testing anything against bots helps you in no way.

You are correct I'm Sorry I did not give you all the parameters of my predicament I like to test different plays, team set ups against Bot teams the theory being that if I score big against them and they play a certain way then that “set-up” is a good one? I know its basic but I’m new so this is one of the ways I try out new things. My gripe was that in other leagues at my level they have 3-4 Bot teams on average, one had 8 which means they can practice as they wish? I now only have one (Bot team)in my league after another new team started this week. It just didn't seem fair to me and as an orignal and proud Pom I whinged

It doesn't really work like that. You can score big against a bot team whatever you do, but the only way to score big on them is by running anyway, as the relax rule seems to affect running less than passing.

Like i said, try your formations in the friendlies in the Eurobowl! Or equally if you are not going to get promoted this season, then use your league games to try a few little things out. ( but looking it seems as your in a good position, so yeah stick to the eurobowl to practice )

This would be Ok but the fact is I haven't won a game in Eurobowl in fact not come near with only two scores in the three games I have played! I know they are bigger teams with better players but I would love to compete with them. I am doing fine in the league so no issue there I have just beefed up my OL and hope to do better in my match this afternoon watch this space!!!!
The truth is of course is I am top of my league and there is only one way to go now and with no Bot teams every game is going to be tough one now???

you tend to find that leagues are filled with new players in batches, and you also tend to find that a number of those will go inactive very soon.... also new teams are little better than bot teams often. Either way, it will be fun for you...

i spent 2 seasons in a league with tough teams who had been in the game longer, they promoted before me and are now in the same league as me.

i think they would rather take my league position than theirs.

u will learn more and have 10x more enjoyment playing other players than a season bot stomping. win or lose the league your team will be better for it, a bot doesn't use different tactics or or have different players trained in odd ways. player always = suprise once in a while.

There isn't bigger satisfaction than earning promotion and after that paying back to those who were here before you and kick your butt when you were small.

Your competition made you better, in all bot league you wouldn't learn so much and wouldn't be so competitive as now. This is the point of our game.
