I have a player who plans to retire when the season is over. Is there anyway i can reverse this?

Yes, it has happened before. However, if I remember correctly, the player will still retire at the end of the season.



Nope. There have been instances where a player changed his mind about retiring after he was fired. He can then be re-hired by the team that fired him for an additional year. But remember, the chance that he goes to the transfer market AND un-retires is very, very, very slim.
