Sure. Safeties are and have been an essential strategic element in the game of American Football. There must be consequence for being forced into your own end zone while playing offence. I assume this change has already been made by now, but I add my two cents in favour of having safeties as part of the game.

hahahaha no the change hasn't been made. There are no safeties in this game unfortunately. And don't expect that to change soon

Yeah I feel like that's why half the newbies quit the game. They come in thinking this is just like the NFL, which it isn't. And when they find out it's not, they think it will change. And it won't. And then they quit

But in all honesty, I think if the game were a little more up front about itself, people would stay. A lot of people, myself included, like the game for what it is and will play no matter what. Other people hope for change, and eventually get fed up and leave. If you come into the game expecting anything, you will surely end up quitting. I guarantee it.

Honestly, how many manager have posted in the forums: "I'm leaving the game because I just keep my team afloat waiting for changes, and I'm tired of waiting."

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. They are obviously looking for another game then. Because even if we get V3, it's not like the entire layout of the game will change or anything, it will literally just be tweaks to the mathematical equations the game uses, and possibly some small other features here and there.

If you don't like the game now, you aren't going to like it that much if/when we get V3. If, like me, you enjoy the game a lot now the way it is, then if we ever do get V3, we will like it that much more
