Do you have to pay in Euros? Or can you pay the same in USD?
And if so, how much in USD?

Depends on what the exchange rate is right now. I believe when I bought it in July I paid about 28 dollars for a year. I'd imagine it hasn't changed much, maybe a dollar or 2 more or less.

When using paypal, they will convert automatically.

At Current Exchange rate

20 Euro = aprox. 29 USD

But I'm buying with my Visa card.

So how much is it at the current exchange rate so I can put the money into my account.

I did too. It'll automatically convert it, you'll end up paying right around 30 American dollars.

$30? Why can't Grid-Iron just be based in America and take USD?

Way to debunk the "me first American mentality" lol. Seriously, 20 or 30 bucks, whats the diff? The people who designed the game are from Europe, hence the euro.

Are you sure you didn't put in 20 dollars which would be around 15 euro?
