Dude you don't want t discount on Scotch it's cheap crap as it is, it's the single malts that'll cost ya the money. But worth it.

I only drink single malt scotch sir!
Preferablly The Macallan
and I have yet to try this Lavagulin that peter goes on and on about.

Most whisky drinkers refer the MacAllan. Lagavulin is one I have not heard a lot about, although I obviously know the name.

The most well known but not necessarily the nicest is Glenlivet, and their distillery tour is fantastic. Includes a taster!!

Glenlivet is really smooth, a nice sweet aftertaste, but the MacAllan is liquid gold. I've only been able to afford the 15 at my upper edges.
I tried Drumguish last summer and that was WAY too peppery for me. Glenfiddich is nice in a pinch too

The Minute the full cask of MacAllan 18 shows up at my door. Hand delivered by two Swedish women with some note from a foreign dignitary stating that I have to sleep with them to avoid an international incident. Gotta make sure the wife understands the situation
