If you train speed and it does not cap early, yes

He will need vision and tackling too, stamina is also important

if he has decent talent, and doesn't cp speed too erly, i don't see why not.
but make sre to cose your CB's carefully. stopping the opponent's passing game is the key to be successfull in Grid-Iron.

17yo 2.5 talent

Positioning -4 Tackling- 5 Punting- 2
Vision- 3 Blocking- 1 Speed- 12
Intelligence- 17 Passing- 4 Strength- 11
Footwork- 1 Catching- 3 Agility- 2
Carrying- 1 Kicking- 1 Stamina- 5

Teamwork- 1 Consistency- 8

I was thinking about putting him into the trash can and roll it down the hill...
Do you think he is good enough for it?

Or is it worth to keep that guy with TW 1?
Also thought about training and selling him, but his TW is crap. I'm looking for high TW player.

Team Work 1 isn't as such a problem, but it depends on the coaches and facilities you have to train him with. If you don't have any coaches or facilities, then Team Work 1 is bad.

As a more developed team I regard Team Work as a bonus, but my main training comes from coaches, Fitness Center and Training Hall.

I've got my fitness coach at 20, but it's just fitness. Maybe I should cap speed and strength first. But I'm saving for a long side VIP boxes, so my thought was keep the wages low to get the money faster.
