Yeah, like that debacle against Vag Tech a couple weeks ago. Although, ultimately, I think it will help them. They were a little full of themselves and came out and whipped Oklahoma the following week.

FYI, my next Cup match is scheduled for next week. Not the 27th. Either way, I have a home game. I need to figure out my building schedule now.

Yeah, I've mastered the art of not watching ESPN for days after a big loss. Florida. LSU. USC. Texas. USC again. At least the last 2 were close and LSU and the first USC were no doubt better teams. Good luck getting ESPN to realize that though.

I like Espn and some of the people on it but the way some people Droll over some of these teams or players makes me wonder what they see that im missing while i dont doubt Lsu has a good Defense they had one with Nick and still have on with Les maybe even better but they need to fix the offense to be considered a NT Contender as Espn has taged them

SC is another one that bugs me i dont see much greatness out of Sc as the media brags how GREAT they are as if they could run over any team including the bottom feeders of the NFL which i dont think would happen heck take the worst nfl team and play the best CFB team and im sure 9 out of 10 times the nfl team wins but back to the SC point they need to play other teams in non conf to make themself look better....but with the voters they go off of the name and less and less off the players on the field

The thing with USC is that they have that one game EVERY YEAR that no big time program should lose. Talent wise, they're there. They may be the best team talent wise in most seasons. But when you lost to Stanford, Oregon State(early in the season when they were down), and Washington, you really aren't helping your case much. Like this year, coming off a huge win on the road in front of 106,000+, they go out to Seattle and give Washington their first important win in years.

While im not trying to take away form Pete but theres something wrong when you cant keep your players up thats the only thing thats wrong if he can get that fixed they could get to some NT games but the players watch too much tv and play like the Cowboys lol which is thinking just cause your CS or Dallas you can plow over anyone cause you got better talent/players/coaches

If SC could do that i wouldnt dislike them so much as i hate hype for a school as if they have won it 5 years in a row...but that brings it back to espn

Completely agree. Carroll is almost TOO cool for Southern California. To me he had the team thinking perfectly in Columbus, because they came out eating up all the attention they were getting(even if it was getting booed). But then they came out against Washington(with a couple of injuries, but nothing that should have lost the game for them) and just played flat. Happens at least once a year, and that's a coaching problem. If he learns how to keep the team up 12 games a year, who knows if anyone can beat them. But until then they'll keep losing that one game and we'll continue to hear the media treat them like they've won the national title every season. They're the perfect team to look at when saying that talent alone doesn't win championships.

Well i see SC as the Dallas Cowboys of CFB all that talent and nothing to show for it my view is if you have role players and great coaches that can most of the time out beat a avg coach and great talent but Sc has a good Head Coach and good talent 2 maybe 3 deep in some spots i think its more of being in LA that hurts them

Cause SC should never lose to a Washington team that last season didnt win a game with all the talent SC has they should plow them over with backups but the one thing a lot of people forget is ther KIDS there not 5-15 year VETS in the Nfl that know how to keep them self in the right mind set while a loss hurts if they played well you cant be that mad but coaching should ban them from watching espn for the week of the "Projected" blow out games
