strength and speeds are limited but hidden right?
but how do you find out that his cap had been reached

If you dont have supporter, you need to do some maths... work out how much training you need to go up a lvl in it (how many weeks) and if it does not go up in that time, you know its capped...

Yes, their is a red star next to the skill if it is capped

along with seeing how much more training other skills need to move up (instead of having to keep a record using a spreadsheet etc, basically its useful for lazy people ...... like me lol)

There is also a yellow star in the player's training details which means that the player has reached the talent limit for the skill.

you can see it too if you use GIMS.
Grid Iron Management Studio from pstimpel.

I use it because i got tired of paste and copy into Excell.

think you can only see it in GIMS if you have supporter as well (the data isnt accessible without having supporter)
