Is there any plus to using 2 RB formations(proset/I) in GI?

It seems to me that having an extra o-lineman/TE/WR(and 1hb or 1 fb ) in the formation is a better option. (The 2 Hb/2 Fb in a proset just split the no of possessions and hence accumulate less yards.)

Does a FB provide the same protection as OL?

i think that is a question that can be debated which is one of the great parts for this game. There are so many different ways you can do things, give it a shot in a friendly and see what happens.

I agree try stuff in friendlys to see if they work. I have HB and FB and like it i tryed 1 HB with 2 TE and did not like it and i have a pretty good HB. So try differnt things but it is nice to get other peoples opinions.

Not sure if this has been proven here, but I play split backs to try to help out stamina of my running backs. I figure(much like NFL teams do) that if they split carries, they'll stay fresher longer.

That is an interesting thought but you need 2 decent running back and more multi purpose i would guess i have one back that is 32 with great blocking skills so I use the I formation

Yep I've got 2 decent running backs and no real full back, so the split back works better for me. With a blocking back then an I or a singleback with more of a power running game would be better.

I use the 2 fbs .
And well the number of touches each of them gets doesnt really seem to change the amount of stamina/rating stars lost. Rather, it seems to change with the amount of time, the team is on the field,(But then again i myt be wrong) which is why I was wondering if bulking up the offensive line myt be a better option.....

Very well could be. Like I said, that's just my theory, I don't think it's been proven or disproven on here. Even if it doesn't work that way, I still have 2 guys that I'm comfortable with running the ball so I'd keep playing it, but that's what works for me.

Bulking up the line could be the way to go.
