Are there any other New Zealanders playing this game?

I just found out about Grid-Iron.org after seeing it advertised in Trophy Manager, which I also just signed up with yesterday. Other management games I play (not gridiron-related, so hopefully it's OK to mention them) include Cricket Manager, Battrick, From the Pavilion, Blackout Rugby and Sunday League. I generally enjoy all those games except Cricket Manager, which I'm gradually withdrawing from and wouldn't recommend. Used to play Bush League Baseball and Senior League Hockey too, but got a bit disillusioned with those.

More than two decades ago, I spent two years in the United States (Washington, DC to be precise), so that got me interested in American football and baseball.

It's often hard to gain a foothold in games like this if you join late, so I'm really pleased to have discovered Grid-Iron.org so early on, and am greatly looking forward to seeing what I can do with my brand spanking new team. It's called the Shaky Islanders, inspired by New Zealand's nickname of the Shaky Isles, and the stadium name is The Epicentre. The cheerleading squad is The Shakettes.

Anyway, if there are any other players from the Land of the Long White Cloud, then let's give 'em a taste of Kiwi!
