the team listed first in the matchup is the home team

e.g. Team X vs Team Y
(Team X is the home team)


Note:
This is the same as how european teams list there games usually but Different to the way US teams do it, where they would have Team Y AT Team X

Yeah, this is confusing to Americans, because in the states its always listed as the home team on the right or bottom (inherited from baseball no doubt). In Europe, soccer games are always listed with the home team on the left.
