Biding on own player

Ok, I need some help please.

I placed my injured player on the TL. A day later I decided to stick with him - couldnt get him of the TL. "So what" i figured, since he will be back on my roster and off the TL, if no one placed a bid.

Unfortunalety, someone did.

My question now is, if I am allowed to bid for my player. Not to raise the the price (I know, who can control that), but to get him back.

Since I would pay the bidding amount to mysself, all I would loose are the 2.500 + %.

Admin, help please? Thanks!

I don't think you can bid for your own player. The reason being by a point you just made.

People will use it to raise their players value.

We left the option to bid on your players for just this reason. Sometimes you make a mistake and transfers list a player and than notice you transfer listed the wrong player or that you still need him... whatever the case you have the option to bid on him

Why so shocked? In Hattrick for example you can also bid on your own players, and al most no one uses it to raise the price.

I think that 95% of managers who are bidding on a player and see that the current owner is also bidding to raise the price, will stop bidding on that player and look for a other one.

Leaving the current owner with the highest bid and thus the loss of money.
