Dirty play to be honest....Very dirty play.

Sure the guy on the floor wants to get Brady down, but he knew he was going to hurt him....

There goes the season in New England. Just like that. One single play can ruin a franchise for a year. Albeit, credit is due for how Matt Cassell played. I just don't think that the team can really rely on him for the whole season.

"We were planning on him playing the whole game. You want to beat the best. When you knock a great quarterback out of the game, that is what you want, as a defense. " Chiefs LB on Brady

And unfortunately, there are no veteran Quarterbacks out there that fit the patriots offense....! Ach!

Buffalo and Jets have a huge chance to take a playoff spot in the AFC East now.

I'm a huge pats fan, since a couple of years.

I watched the game and I have to say that I think it was not a dirty play. You should not hit a QB below the waist, sure. But Brady should have step away, this guy was crawling around the pocket with Morris on his back. Don't get me wrong, I really hate to see him go down. And it awfully remembered me of Rodney's Inury three (I think) seasons ago, so I thought gone for the season all the way.

Cassel ... Man I just hope he plays better than in the preseason. Some of the Boston Media even saw him get cut!! But he did look good on Sunday, but is a awful lot of preasure on him right now. I hope the best. Randy even made Dante Culpetter look like a good QB, so I think he can do it again. As a Pats fan the season just became much more interesting!!!

Unfortunate football incident. It's a rough game, people get hurt, end of story.
The only people that are considering it dirty are a few Pats fans and Belicheat.. who may be a little biased

Rough time for the Patriots, but I'll be honest, it does make things a little less predictable and a bit more exciting for everyone else.

I guess...

I've watched it a few times now, and have changed my opinion a few times. I understand that Brady should of moved out of the pocket, away from the guy, and obviously he didn't want to injure Brady, but just sack the guy.

Again, it's unfortunate. And like you guys have said, being a Pat's fan has just got a bit more interesting. I still believe that Belichick is hiding something from the media - Brady will play sometime this season (I hope :thumb

Unfortunable that is not possible. He is on the IT, which means he will not be allowed to play all season (incl. the Playoffs). But I actually think this a good thing, because he now has 12 months to fully recover from the inury! Phil Rivers torn his ACL in the Playoffs and is able to play now, so Brady should be back in 12 months. I just hope he will overcome the inury not like culpepper.

I see. I never knew that he was on Injured Reserve. Damnit!

I can't see how you can say that it is good. It's not as if it's his foot that he's hurt again, and that it needs more time to repair. It's his knee this time...

Ah well, go Matt Cassell!
