If both teams fail to score in OT it should be a tie (in regular season game).
It's like that in RL anyway.
Are you saying that in G-I one of the teams will always score in OT?
That's way too gamey!

Like I said. And admins answered me this questions somewhere. OT isn`t "another 15 minute quarter" OT lasts until someone scores. and it can last forever if neither team can score.

And it`s not like that in RL, it`s like that in the NFL.

Ok thanks, hope thats fixed before stamina works.

not to bust anyones balls but a tie is possible in normal football. Ties are not possible in postseason play but in regular season ties are possible and happen. They are rare but they do happen.

Yes, there is overetime but there are a limited amount of OTs (1 in the NFL). If the OT period ends without either team having scored, the game is a tie. I'm not sure if that's true in this game but it is in real life. This is off the NFL website:

"When a regular season NFL game ends in a tie score, a fifth 15-minute period is played. The winner is the first team to score any points and it ends in a tie if time expires without points having been scored. For purposes of determining playoff spots and division rankings, a tie is calculated as .5 win"

Not to bust your balls, but not in college football.

"Overtime was introduced in 1996, eliminating ties. When a game goes to overtime, each team is given one possession from its opponent's twenty-five yard line. The team leading after both possessions is declared the winner. If the teams remain tied, overtime periods continue, with a coin flip determining the first possession. Possessions alternate with each overtime, until one team leads the other at the end of the overtime. Starting with the 3rd overtime, a single point for a successful field goal during the try is no longer awarded, essentially forcing teams to attempt a two-point conversion after a touchdown."

Really? I totally didn't know you guys played by different rules over there! Thanks for the update!

How's football going over there anyway? NFL Europa doesn't exist anymore but it's good to see you guys still have some form of leagues out there. That's our bad though, damn NFL decided it would be better to widen the audience for our league then to let you guys have your own. I think it's a pile of crap personally. But I'm sure Europe has already started new leagues to fill the gap. Good luck with that! I hope that someday a real World Bowl can happen with all the countries in the World competing for the crown. I guess we'll wait and see!

Thanks.
The rules we play by are the same as in NCAA. We have both national and international leagues in Europe, EFAF (http://www.efaf.de/), European national championship, U19....
