Is there any penalty for going about $100,000 into debt for a few weeks?

I had some money burning a hole in my pocket and after pondering I decided to build some VIP in my stadium. I know the wages have to be paid tomorrow and currently I have $0 as my balance.

I estimate that in 2-3 weeks I will be stable again with friendlies, home league game and sponsorship.

Taken straight from the FAQ in the top menu.

4. Can I go into “red numbers” with my club and if so how much?
Yes, the board allows you to be up to - $ 400,000

5. What if I go below - $ 400,000 ?
You will receive a warning and you will have 1 week to get yourself out of the financial troubles before your club goes into administration. If you manage to get your clubs finance above - $ 400.000 before the week is over then you're safe. If you don't then the club gets bankrupt.

Thanks jespernohr, and there isn't any financial penalty like interest owed for borrowing that amount?

I haven't been into the reds myself yet, but I haven't heard about anything. Also taking the simplicity of this game into account I doubt there is any.

No, you may have to sell some players though.

Nope, I do it all the time. Totally cool
In fact I've been under $400,000 once which gets you a "You may lose your team!" message. Even if you know it's only from Wednesday wages day to a home game Saturday, it's still disconcerting.

I am so funny about it that i will never go into the red. Even by a dollar. I don't even want there to be a small possibility that i could lose my team and have to start over!
