I think it could've been great, just put the Eagles, Invaders, Peanuts, and my team in one group, Cobras, Studs, you, and Wyld Stallions in the other group and then the games would be awesome.

Yea sorry about that, this cup hasn't really gone as I'd hoped because its so small and the talent level is all over the place.

It has gone without a hitch as far as playing games every week though. The participants have been great, a dedicated bunch.

Well its full of well known coaches aside from the Cobras at least from my view point i have seen them teams all over the place

i take a cup like this anyday over one that got even teams were no one seems to remember when or who there playing the comment wasnt directed at YOU just you comment as it seems there never a close game someone is getting blanked it seems like each week

Oh I know, I didn't take it personal. I have just been thinking myself that this has been a bit lopsided most weeks and when I started the cup I thought playing human controlled teams every week would make for some interesting games, but hopefully in the final week and the championship game we'll get that.

Well i agree that the Peanuts Winners and Invaders are great teams along with mine thats off and on Great of course this is no disrespect towards the other teams as the record shows you havent been doing that well

My call for the title will either be the Winners or Invaders i think i got a chance if the winners are some how knocked out of the playoffs and we dont have to play them

Their were some differences in talent level, but that happens in every cup. Anyways, my prediction is the Invaders Vs. the Eagles. If I manage to beat out the Invaders, then I'd be mad about losing to the eagles for two reasons.

My perfect 6-0 record against them would be tarnished with a year of supporter on the line.

I'd lose a year supporter to a supporter.

Hmm, kinda sounds like a Safugnoff victory over the Winners in the cup final is almost "meant to be"

Maybe thats just the Cub fan in me. Expect the worst cause when it comes to sports thats usually what happens.

Yeah, friendly success is rotational. Meaning that as teams develop their youth players, some are much more likely to be successful than others at a given time. I knew I wasn't going to be very good this season, simply because I'm still tinkering with my roster. Hopefully I'll be able to pull an upset or at least keep it close one of these days..

Well us Cubs fans cant help but think like this.....its rather sad that i think like this when it comes to my sports teams online when offline i set real exceptions with the teams last 08 i wanted Alabama to win the Sec West this season i want a Sec Title...unlike other Tide fans that want a 14-0 Nat Title every season

Well id love to get a win over you just once as i finally beat Peanuts and Invaders now need to be you and Merc but as i said above being a cubs fan i expect the worse before hand...though if i have to face the Invaders i got a shot at the title but if i need to face the Winners

Double post...missed this one lol but im going to ask you the same question a few other coaches asked me at the time "If you were winning why change anything"

But i think everyone is now trying to get younger with the ability to fire the old men will make people happy and allow teams to get a lot younger

Dammit Jinto, if the Red Sox can win it then why can't we?

Always nice to know other people are sharing the experience, even though I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Enough about the Cubs though, I also went pretty young early on in the game and fired or transferred pretty much my entire squad and rebuilt. If anybody checks my transfer history you can tell I've been busy. I always take a very long term approach to these games cause if I like em I tend to stay a while.

Also I see Jinto mentioned Merc and I was wondering are Mods allowed to play in friendly cups
