what about vision, agility and footwork? those are quite important as well

agility and footwork as i mentioned is above the average of a normal DB. vision is low though but i dont think vision will make that much of a different. they should be able to beat most DB

If you can't see the ball coming, how are you going to catch it?

that is just a terrible argument
vision should not actually be about optics. vision in sports is somewhat like your way of diagnosing the play.
the only real vision a WR irl needs is to improve route running and to know exactly where all the seams are for certain patterns

I think of Vision in the way its used in GLB. Vision is a circle and each "point" of vision is a wider radius in that circle. If Vision is too low, the WR won't see the ball early enough to get his hands in the correct place for catching the ball.

then you obviously havent played football.
IRL ,WR know when the ball is released from the qb's hand. everything is about rhythm and timing.

you are completely misunderstanding what vision is in sports

Because we all know every skill in GI is used the exact same way as it is in real life.

i dont expect it to be however its just completely ludicrous to say you need vision to see the ball to catch it. the game is taking vision for its literal meaning if it is used in that context

Hi there,

first of all, if your pass offense sucks, its because you prefere to run.
try prefere to pass or pass only if you want a passing offense.
Try also a 4 receiver set or single back formation.
you will see it helps

every single bot game and scrim game i put it on run and pass, except for the last one where i forgot to set it.

ive used 4 wide sets and other sets with TE and nothing works

i said it, try to set to prefere pass or pass only, especially on scrim games. if the other team is not far better than you, you should see a difference. But dont expect a completion ratio of more than 40 %.
you are not playing top Div. are you

agreed surely it is refering to peripheral vision which as the player becomes better he is more aware of his surroundings and opposition.

That's right. Without a brain, you couldn't see. But really, who knows what vision is for this game. Just because you think it should be another way doesn't mean it is.

IN REAL LIFE its a cerebral thing. In the world of 1s and 0s, your guess is as good as mine. Since the play by play doesn't say if it was a bad throw by the QB, dropped by the WR/TE, deflected by the defender, or bad programming, we have no idea what the problem is in the passing game.

not to be a jackass or anything but you went up against a team of full 1 star players.
even my crappy pass offense racked in 99 yards on 3 attempts against a team full of 1 star players.
