hey!
Does anyone have any ideas why my kicker misses so many field goals, even though he has great skills, and my match orders are only: kick when distance <45 yards.
Last game he missed one from 39 yards, the game before that, he missed 4! field goals.
here are his skills:

Intelligence 16
Kicking 9
Strength 14
Agility 7
Teamwork 15
Consistency 18

I don't know...9 is pretty good kicking by today's standards, but that's only because the game isn't mature. Ultimately, I think 9 will be considered a pretty low kicker skill level, so maybe this is to be expected?

Anything over 30 yards is chancey at best

if he's chumping 10-19 yard field goals consistently (and his last name isn't Norwood), then you have cause for concern

Stupid Scott Norwood!

My kicker has Kicking 12 and he constantly misses 30+ field goals
In my last friendly, he even missed a 21 yard field goal.
Why do I pay him $12,000 again? I don't know.

hmmm, just a question popped into my head.
If you have a kicker who also does the punting, do you think that increases the amount of stamina he needs and without that his kicking performance gets worse during the game?
Or do you think the extra punting job has nothing to say?

What was the weather like? Could that have an influence over longer kicks?

What are his other skills like? What's his consistency?

If he had held the ball laces out like he's supposed to, Ray erhmmm Željko would never have missed those kicks

So what ou're saying is that at this point, it's hardly ever doable to score a 40+ yards field goal??
That would kinda suck.. but at least stop me worrying
