Week ten of the season is finished and the division race is heating up in Division II.2

Game of the week featured the Oakland Destruction vs. Sphinx 2000. Sphinx 2000 kept their momentum going with another victory 77-31. Oakland looks like they had a training injury and was unable to adjust the defensive lineup so they went into bot defense. That was an unfortunate situation but it is in the books as a win for Sphinx 2000.

Everyone else had a bot and took care of them easily.

We will see if Megopolis can bounce back against a human team after their first loss of the season two weeks back. Tennessee needs this win if they have any hope of getting promoted this season. This will be a good one here folks!

Sphinx 2000 rides their winning streak into the match-up with H-Town. Does H-Town have enough to slow down the momentum of Sphinx 2000? I think it will be a close game but Sphinx 2000 will pull out the win in the end.

The NA Regional Cup moves into its seventh week next week and here is how the human teams from Division II.2 are faring so far.

The previous week saw a tough matchup for the H-Town Indians as they took on the San Diego Thunder. The Thunder proved to be too much as H-Town’s defense could stop the Thunder offense as the Indians went down in defeat. So that leaves the Oakland Destruction and Tennessee Orange as the teams remaining from Division II.2

Oakland Destruction takes on a Division IV opponent in RustedIron.
Tennessee Orange takes on a Division IV opponent in Tauberg Blades.

Game of the week featured the Tennessee Orange vs. Oakland Destruction. Tennessee used staunch defense and some timely fieldgoals to squeak by Oakland 13-10. Tennessee remains right in the thick of the race for promotion. Oakland drops back for now but if this season has shown one thing it is don’t count anyone out of it yet.

Tennessee needs this game to maintain their tie for the division lead. The Indians look to play spoiler in this one and build some momentum for next year. Should be a good one!
