11 games into my first year that I've actually paid attention to and I got to say I'm loving the game.

Squish killed me in a game but I'm currently 7-4 and if the season ended now I'd be in the playoffs. If I can get there I'll call the season a success, although I know I have a long way to go in order to get to a championship level.

Do me a favor and hit the free agents list after the spin between today and tomorrow, at least I think it's today. I'd rather not have to choose which unsigned super stars to sign.

I joined this game a few days back. (login there is shaggyweez) I'm in league 10, one of which Squish was in the SB. I took over the Redwood Fire Dragons just before the draft. I had the 5th pick which leads me to believe my team didn't do so well last season.

I hit the FA market hard to improve my offense. I had two solid running backs (one a bruiser, the other a speedy back), but not much else. I signed a new bunch of QBs, a few WRs, and upgraded the O-Line. I also picked up some guys for defense. With the draft, I took an OT and 6 defensive players. Most of my draft picks made my roster, since I was in sore need of depth on defense. I think it worked out pretty well, at least from looking at my roster. I confess to not knowing much about the game at this point, so I don't know how any of them will perform.

It took me quite a while, but I got my lineups set and just waiting for pre-season to start now. I picked up an older QB (12 year vet, 33 years old), but I liked my chances with an experienced QB rather than a young kid who needed to grow into the position. Was that a mistake? Well, hopefully I'll run into Squish in the playoffs this year.
