Several things which have caused this and the thread in General Discussions to arise.
1. We were officially told in a News item that we'd be able to change our sponsors on Friday.
2. This would actually give enough time for building works to be finished before league match #2 if a team were to be waiting for the finance (more likely for a new team about to start their second season than an early player).
3. It never happened but no one has officially said why or given any new news.
4. People are left speculating - again no information from the GMs/Admins only makes this worse.
5. Some teams are short on money, either through having too expensive a team from the new salaries or being a new team that needs to spend (stadium/coaches, etc) to compete.

such inpatience. I guess it is annoying to be told one thing and then it didn't happen. However im sure theres a very good reason for it

I don't get how this affect your construction or money problems. You won't get money problems before wednsday. as for the construction you might be pissed because of the scheduell, but again nothing to do with having sponsors.

And again, they said it would be on friday it didn't. It's a bug! Give the admins some time to sort it out! I'm sure it will be done before wednsday.

If the sponsor could have been reset Friday as said, then a manager could have used those money to build more seats for the second game of season. This would be especially useful if the first game was an away game and the second one is a home game. So it is not about being "pissed" about the schedule, since no matter what the first game would always be on a stadium being under construction. It is about a missed opportunity to have the best possible stadium ready for the new season. So it is very much about the resetting of the sponsor. This doesn't apply to myself, since I got a home game in the first game, but I can see the problem people encountered because of this "bug".

Are you saying that you get a new lump sum for hiring a sponsor and that people would use that money to build a stadium? First I'm not sure that is correct (if you are saying that, and i could also be wrong) but still you don't get that much money from the lump sum to build a seats, so either way it's not a big loss. If i undestood you correctly
