Stats - Significance of stars

On the match screen, when you click on the "Stats" tab you see two columns for "Start" and "End" with stars there. Is this a rating of their production during the game or what exactly? I see sometimes I get more stars and sometimes less, but it doesn't seem to directly correlate with my players rating, teamwork, etc as far as I can tell.

edit...I think I figured it out...it has to do with the rating they're listed as and the rating they actually play with during the game right?

At the moment we have confusion with two type of ratings but is hard to choose different name. You can try

First rating is positional rating, which can be found in player's details. This rating shows how good is player on his dedicated position.

Second rating is player's game rating. This rating can be found on game statistic page and is combination of positional rating, primary skills for played position, energy etc. This rating decreases during the game due to low stamina, energy loss and relax factor.

How about make a few more hover over explanation for the difference things in this game. Clearly it would help the forum with the amount of repetitive questions be asked.

I don't see it referred to as "ingame rating" anywhere on the stat page although that would have made it clearer. Also sorry for not looking at the game engine breakthroughs thread, the title didn't grab me as a FAQ thread. Maybe consider organizing it like gurudefense did his thread and naming it something that screams "LOOK HERE IDIOT, STATS" because obviously a lot of people are not looking there.

I don't think renaming it would be as helpful as simply having a note off to the side of the page or anywhere visible. If you want to get fancy, maybe a "?" button for each page that would go into detail about what the different columns and rows mean. For example this other online game I play called Zork uses that method and is really helpful: http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/606/zork.jpg
