I have some players that I will not play at their "natural position", because they have skills that have nothing to do with it... (by the way, I don't get how the natural position is determined the,... random ?)
How can I change their "POS" in my team players table, so I can see them at the position I want them to play ? That would be much more pratical...

A player's "natural" position is determined by the number of games they've played in that position.
In other words, a player's position, for example, is quarterback, because that's the position they've played the most.
The only way to change that is by having them play in a different position. When the number of games played in that new position exceeds the number played in the previous one, they'll switch to that position.
One of the guy was bought from the transfert market, and didn't have any club before. So I guess it will change rapidly !
Thanks again

Go to the 'Positions' tab on your player's profile to see his current star rating in each position. It takes 10 matches in a given position to improve the rating by half a star, and the max he can go to is dictated by his talent rating. 4.5-5* talent can reach 5* in a position, 3.5-4* talent can reach a max of 4.5*, 2.5-3* talent can reach 4* etc etc.
Also note that a player can only improve in one position per game, and this gets evaluated in the order of Offense > Defense > Special Teams. So if for example you play him at Tight End and Cornerback in the same match, his positional tally will only increase for Tight End.
There are some useful stickied threads on the 'Center for rookies' forum that are well worth having a read through for this kind of info.Last edited on 2026-04-02 at 23:59
