Disappointingly the new server upgrade has not addressed an issue where you go bankrupt in the off season and not receive an email warning of this.

This happened to me with the team Inversnecky Tuechters (previously the Yorkshire Pudding W'Gravy). As a result I have set up a new team and asked that my ultimate account be transferred to my new team.

Unfortunately, as I cannot prove the transaction back somewhere between 2010 and 2014 the administrators have advised that GDPR prevents them from checking that I ever was an ultimate supporter.

This is absolute nonsense as they will be able to see that the teams referenced above and the Yorkshire Puddings and the Holywell Hellcats were all managed by me under an Ultimate Supporters account.

Instead, i am left with 2 options 1) pay a further €80 for a game that is not being developed, supported and is slowly dying or 2) stop playing.

As the administrators have not had the courtesy to respond to any message over the last 10 days and their last message was dismissive, I believe option 2 it will be.

Good luck to those of you who remain and could the last out turn off the lights please.

As I explained, we don't keep old team data (bar the name and some other non-identifiable data) in the database (partially due to GDPR, but partially also, because there is no point).

So, we cannot just check for a few years back if you were really an owner of some, now long, bankrupt/closed team.

Transferring Supporter account has a method that is followed by all who want to do so.
When the team goes bankrupt, the email with special code is sent to the manager that he/she can use in order to transfer supporter account.

If not, the supporter is lost.

This is the same for every manager that went bankrupt and you are asking us to make an exception for you.
Which is not really fair, is it?

Such a pity that the functionality failed to work. Can I also point out that you have managed on 3 separate occasions to reinstate the Ultimate Supporters account without the use of the email and code - I fail to understand what is issue is this time (dont give me GDPR nonsense). Clearly the loyalty shown over all of these years is worth nothing and despite me flagging to you the fact your 'automated' system failed, no investigation was completed.
