As we enter Round 3 of the Regional Cup, I am going to start looking at what clubs are playing each other and making predictions of those matches. If others want to join in, it could make it a little fun.

There are 56 human squads left in the top 4 Divisions, with 2 games this round.

The first human game this round is Chaos Haven Regulators vs ghostriders. I think this matchup is going to be pretty one-sided, as the Regulators are doing well in the AFLC currently, while the ghostriders are still working their way up in DIII.

The next human game is going to be Kitchener Knights vs Meat Heads. The Knights are currently on an undefeated push to win their division and move into TD, while Meat Head is still in its developmental stages. Sorry Meat Heads, going to have to take the Knights in this one.

Welcome to the 4th round of the North American Regional Cup. After the Regulators and the Knights dominated their human matches, we are now down to 53 human teams remaining in the Cup.

This week we have 6 human vs human matches to predict.

Our first match will be Chaos Haven Regulators vs SKY Team. SKY Team looks to be building for the future with a large team, but my money is going to be on the Regulators to continue their dominance in their cup run, winning their second human v human match in a row.

The next cup match-up will pit Frankford Yellow Jackets vs I Ride The Bus. For this game, I am going to put the Yellow Jackets on upset alert, now I know the team that rides the bus is only in the 2nd division, but they have players on their team who can play with the big boys. I Ride The Bus comes away with the upset.

Our final match-up featuring a TD squad is Charlotte JV Nutsquad vs Hartford Hellhounds. This should not be too much of a challenge for the Nutsquad, as long as they do not get complacent.

Following that match, we have the Mallorca Hurricanes vs Tignish. While both of these teams are in 2nd Division, I do not predict that this will be an even match-up with Mallorca spending the 6th most in the region, and trying to make a push currently for TD. Sorry Tignish, going Mallorca big.

Next match up is Charlottetown vs Bangor Wolves. Currently Charlottetown is fighting against relegation in a tough division 2, but I don't think they will have much of a match-up against Bangor Wolves as they look to be a few seasons away from being serious competitors. Charlottetown by at least 4 touchdowns.

The final human vs human match-up will involve Omaha Ninja Llamas vs Summerside. We saved our best for last as this one could come down to who has the ball last. The Llamas have a balanced offence vs Summersides good defense. I think this one will be decided by less than a touchdown, but the Llamas will pull it out.

I appreciate your Llama confidence. But, holy cow, with all the bot teams, what a lousy draw!

Love to see this!
It is nice to see community engagement again. I used to make prediction threads (if you want, you can go back and read them on previous seasons).
It adds a lot of fun to the game and community.
Thanks for doing this and have fun!

Congrats to the Bangor Wolves on their big upset win over Charlottetown. Now we start Round 5 of the Regional Cup. This week we have 5 PVP games, and 44 human teams left.

The first game up is Mallorca Hurricanes vs F.C Motion. With the Hurricanes coming off of a win last week and pushing near the top of division 2, they should make easy work of an F.C Motion team that looks to be a few seasons away from being competitive. Going big with Mallorca here.

The next match we have is Vegas Cardsharks vs Gun Slingers. With the Cardsharks currently sitting atop Top Division, I think they should be able to handily beat the Gun Slingers. Cardsharks big.

Following that the Chaos Haven Regulators are playing their 3rd PvP game in a row this week against the Frankford Yellow Jackets who also won a PvP game last week. This is a big clash between two teams that are both in Top Division, and in their earlier battle in the season the Yellow Jackets pulled off the upset. I predict this one is going to come down to the wire, and we are looking at somewhere within a touchdown game in the Regulators favor.

Next up we have the Warsaw Warpigs vs Good Fellas. The Warpigs are a strong Top Division team currently making a push for the AFLC either by winning the cup or by getting first. The Good Fellas are a solid team that I think might be outmatched in this one, but will still be able to hold their own. So I will say Warpigs by 14.

Our Final match-up is Edmonton Grandmasters vs Omaha Ninja Llamas. Both of these teams are in Division 2 in the same league, and have already played each. The Llamas beat the Grandmasters by 35 in that game, and by going over the roster it looks like the Llamas balanced team is going to beat the Grandmasters offensive focused team.

Sorry Belau! Tough draw so early in the Cup.
I know the feeling but you’ve got a strong team that looks to be competitive. I think you’ll be in Top Division soon.

Yeah, Vegas is a tough draw this early in the Cup. My own draw against Edmonton will be interesting as the Llamas may have beaten them a week ago, but Edmonton didn't start a real defense in that game, so this could look much different.
