Unlike la Vecchia Signora, I feel like I just couldn't buy a win towards the end of the season with three loses in the last five games.

Stevie stuck with it and passing in the last game was a great play, so well done to him...

Thanks mate

You had a great season .... beating me TWICE in the league .... which brings up the argument again for changing the tie-breaker to be decided by head to head records and not points.
For me there can only be one choice ..... head to head .... as it entirely eliminates any 'outside influence' on points differences ....

And head to head gives us a different TD winner.

Congrats on your season mate .... I know who won.
My true TD title was won the previous season.

Very nice of you to say, but the table is the table and it does not lie...

Good luck to everyone next season.

So I've decided this season gone is to be my last season on Grid-Iron. It's been like, 13 years. Lots of things have led me to this decision, not least some questionable goings on with 'Ultimate Supporter clubs'. I'm also due to go and work in China, which will be a massive change and challenge, and I want to focus on that too.

Never mind the cups and titles - it's been great hanging out with you guys. That's all that matters. Media and culture is very obsessed with winning/losing, and it's not about that at all. Football's coming home doesn't mean that England are going to win or whatever, it means that we can enjoy watching and playing the game in a welcoming atmosphere, without the risk of being attacked by a football hooligan (something we couldn't take for granted until a few years before 1996). For sure though, it's fun pitting your wits against the best managers and getting a few sneaky victories here and there.

There are some good young players on the market if you want to pick up a souvenir Weasel.

Ah thats a shame mate, although in one of the toughest regions in the game 5 TD titles, 3 regional cups and 2 iron bowls not to mention your world cup wins aswell will surely have you down as one of the best managers that has played the game.

All the best bud and i hope you enjoy your new challenge in China

Gutted to hear that mate. I've been contemplating the same for a number of seasons and still am tbh ( also for a number of reasons ). It's been fun though ... whether its been games in the league, games in the cup .... and 'games' in the forums

Best of luck with your new ventures
