Well the season is officially 1/3 complete and there appears to be some separation between the top 5 and the bottom 5 teams, but the competitiveness remains strong for all 10 teams.

This week was really "separation week" as teams 1-5 won games against teams 6-10 creating a 2 game gap.

- Warpigs won big against a struggling Pottsville team that has yet to find its first win of the season.
- Socten's defense held Llamas to 13 points and won at home.
- The Goats went into Kitchener and came away with a big road win.
- The 69ers held off a feisty Gators team that fought hard on the road.
- Cardsharks stayed unbeaten on the season with a win against the Hurricanes.

Next week is a massive game for 2nd place as Socten travels to the Goats in what is shaping up to be a big game!

The fight against relegation appears that its going to be a real battle between teams 6-10. Pottsville is 0-6 but with a couple wins, could easily move up above 7th.

At this point its anyone's guess as to who will relegate and who will stay up. I think Pottsville may be the best 0-6 team in TD history. LOL

It’d be nice if my offense can fire up

Your next game is against my Llamas ... so it probably will.

My defense hasn't exactly been a brick wall.

Update (11-28-20):
See?

Wow! What an incredible week of action this past weekend.

Several games went down to the wire that required scores or last minutes stops to earn the victory.

- Socten came out on top of a heavyweight slugfest that saw them hang on to a 3 point win at the Goats. The Goats fell behind by 21 points at halftime only to roar back and pull within 3 with under 3 minutes to play. However, the Goats D was unable to hold Socten and they ran out the clock for a crucial win.

- The Cardsharks went to Orlando to face the Gators and bit off a bit more than they could chew early on. The Gators raced to a 28-7 lead and the Cardsharks looked like they were headed to their first defeat. However, the Cardsharks came out swinging in the 2nd half and surged past the Gators to take a 35-28 lead. A crucial goal line stand with 1 minute left sealed the comeback road win for the Cardsharks.

- Kitchener hosted the Warpigs in what turned out to be a high scoring shootout. Both teams exchanged blows until late in the 4th quarter when Kitchener scored with 1 minute left on the clock. Kitchener's defense stopped Warsaw on the final 2 plays and held on for the dramatic home victory.

- The 69ers traveled to Herringtown hoping to get their offense back on track, in what has been a sluggish start to the season for the defending champs. That is exactly what they did as they outpaced the hometown Llamas for a 56-30 road win.

- Pottsville finally got the monkey off their backs with a solid win on the road at the Mallorca Hurricanes. For the first time this season, the Maroons offense appeared to be clicking on all cylinders.

Next week the Goats are in another big game, as sole possession of 3rd place will be on the line when they travel to the 69ers. More importantly, both teams need to win to keep pace with the Cardsharks and Lakers. The loser will fall 3 games out of 1st with 1 more week before the halfway point of the season.

Here we are at the halfway point of the season and it is abundantly clear that my Llamas team is NOT ready for prime time!

Waving the white flag - we surrender.

Now we will wait for the inevitable relegation back to D2 - which is apparently where my team belonged anyway.

Don't wave that white flag just yet! Your team is still very much alive for that 7th spot. The league is very polarized this season, so the fight to stay out of the bottom 3 is going to go down to the wire!
