Only my young guys are trained above Average. Last week Marques, before that Mickle, then my RB (who I cut), and others. None of them are trained above average except Tomarchio and now he’s out for 20 days. I only start 3 young players and all of them have energy in the 90’s.

I know how the game works and this season I have had far above normal injury levels.
I’ve got players who I train on average/low and they’re still losing energy. I almost think that the engine calculation for energy and injuries is a team calculation and NOT a player calculation. I’ve never experience so many injuries in my 8 years of playing G-I, as I have had this season.

This suggests you dont know how it works. Try setting back all to normal. Then if you see energy drop, then you did not succeed setting it all back to normal.

I think the injury set up is cyclical. I've had and seen periods where teams have a rash of injuries over a period of a season or two, then no injuries for several seasons. Sometimes the injury bug is mild and sometimes severe. Sometimes, it last a few months, other times a couple of seasons. Not all teams seem to hit the bug at the same time, but there does seem to be groupings.

I too have been getting a lot of injuries lately. I got lucky this week, but it's only my 2nd injury free week in the last two months (8 weeks) and I only train on normal for all players.

I'll just wait it out and hope that it takes a while before it comes back. Nothing to be done about it anyway.

I do agree that the injury percentage appears to affect the team instead of the individual players. I tried a low talent player set at max intensity training while all others were normal to try to 'syphon' any injuries away from my good players. I had several injuries during that trial, but none to the high intensity trained player. He came out unscathed until I fired him.

The energy problem is more likely that it didn't save correctly. I would double check my training page again any time I see a energy change that shouldn't be. Be sure to save on each page you make changes and double check again after any saved changes by going back to the training page to ensure the changes are still there.

I think we share a similar perspective. I have never really had a problem with injuries in my 8 years of playing G-I until this season. I have always trained my young players with higher intensity than my starters, as many people do. I might get 1 or 2 injuries in a typical season.

I think you are correct that injuries are probably cyclical and spread across the team as opposed to specific higher intensity trained players. This has been clear to me this season as it has been mostly my older starters (and lower trained) players getting the injuries. This week is the 1 exception because this player is a young starter who is trained above average. In my 8 years, I have never noticed the game engine perform like this.

Maybe I have just been lucky with injuries in the past and now it has caught up to me? Hopefully next season will be better.

Have any of the injury-plagued teams noticed if a player was on a weight gain/loss program at time of injury? Impacts time to recover energy when on a diet which might increase chance of injury perhaps.

None of mine were in nutritional training.
