Yeah, I would say positioning is relative for all positions. Always train this as high as specific skills. If you take a WR to 20 catching, his position skill should match.

Agreed.
I have always trained Tactical skills + Footwork as high as I could to match the primary skill set for the position. However, if someone has data from the Admins stating that Positioning is irrelevant to certain positions, I would be interested in learning about that. Much like Vision is apparently not utilized in the GI Engine calculation for RB.
