So this team has just joined the game, and been put in Div 6 in Central Europe. Only good thing about that is that if he sticks out with the game he can get a full trophy set. Central Europe division 5's are almost entirely full of bots, as are most of their Div 4's, and there are still a number of bot teams even in Div 3's.
How do we expect to retain new players if they have to spend 3-4 BORING (albeit useful for building your team) seasons beating up bots before they get any proper competition.....?

Just put them straight in Div 4 please ughhhhh

This game is apparently dead. Look at North America. Below Div II there a less human teams. Or Africa, two active Manager are left. Or take a look at Balkan Region. DIV II is ruled by BOT-Teams. GI needs a revolution. For Example only one Region with DIV I to DIV VI. Otherwise new Manager will give up early. Nobody wants to play only against BOT Teams Season after Saison...

That is a minor good thing, but I'll take it

I know that I won't really mind that, but I can definitely understand why others would be bothered. Although I'm new to this game, I've played other similar games. Most of them have 0-1 seasons of matches against bots. But next to that it is also depressing to be put in a competition with teams that exist for over months/years with the consequences of losing hard in every single game. I know I'll need a lot of time to be competitive. So the idea of any easy beginning against bots doesn't strike me as bad.

Just get a good mentor so you avoid the biggest mistakes...

We've mentioned that this is stupid so many times. The game would be far more interesting if all the competitive teams were just put into one place, the actual top teams of this game rarely meet, which is ridiculous. Also the amount of bot teams now is out of control. It used to be when I started that there were quite a few down in V in Atlantic, but now it's even most of IV.

However whoever is running this thing doesn't want to listen, and they are seeing the user base die a slow painful death.

I also don't mind starting in Div VI . Now i can expand my stadium and keep the wages low .
I already played this game . Started in season 2 and went bankrupt in season 7 .
My old team is still in Div VI 220 .

If the Wildcats don't come back this week, then our region will be down to four measly teams. Six bots in TD, to go with our all-bot divisions II and III.

Merge us with Asia already.
