I guess the $15-20m was for a rebuild in one swoop. Of course it can be done in installments.

Yes. A 70.000 seat stadium would cost that, but I can't remember how much VOIP seats cost, so that could be a small difference.

I made the assumption that you would want to build at least 48.000 seats to make max money, but if you build in installments, you would only prolong the process. If you have 15-20 million in the bank, I would choose to sell and build in one installment, but only as a last resort. I can not see any logic in selling a stadium unless you have built a 132.500 seat stadium and am only selling sub 40.000 tickets per game. Surely there are other and more accessable solutions to earning (not loosing) money.

And I follow Gat22... Only went past 15 million last week when I sold for 9 million. Been managing my economy tightly with spreadsheets, projections and automatic budgetting for the next seasons so I know when to sell / fire players in order to avoid high wages. Never been in top-10 wages, but been competitive (some will differ) for the last 15 seasons or so.

I was thinking on rebuild after 4 or 5 seasons fighting at negative zone

Clicking the button, offer me 8.950.000... I don't know if this include installments or not, but with that money I can´t build anything decent and only would be acellerating my path to bankrupcy!

trying to follow along for future planning , i am guessing the stadiums were built too big? Are there different ones i can buy or i out grow my original stadium because it caps out?

i am thinking they built too big and arent filling them which costs more in maintenance then the budget allows.

i suppose the best idea is fill vip and executive with a well judged amount of regular seating is the best plan?

This is correct. 70k total is apparently the sweet spot. But you can still make money with higher. As long as your VIPs and execs are maxed. That is the most important thing with the stadium build.

Finally decided to sell up and rebuild straight to 70k (from 93400)

Factoring in the sale amount ($6m + change) it cost approximately $14m.

Season 34:
Construction (income)$ 6,506,250
Construction (expenditure)$ -20,425,000

Contrary to popular belief, you do actually get the chance to back out of the sale as well.
