Is it just me, or are just a lot of people leaving?

The entire II2 Balkan division just botted. Half of II3 botted as well. Two-thirdsof II1 is dead as well.

Am I missing something here? What's going on?

It seems some big collusion or multi-accounting group has been demolished, although there is some controversy about it, where the former owner of one of the teams has made a new account and seems to have gone to the UK forum to argue about it.

It’s pointless explaining anyway as no one is interested in facts, is listening or gives a crap

So what’s the point, a lot on the forums prefer to accuse people of cheating and gi don’t give two shits

The reasons why teams can disappear are:
1) economic failure.
2) multiple transfers to and from the same teams.
3) multiple accesses from the same IP (that's why if you have a family member who also plays from your own PC, the ban is certain, better always access from different devices), as explained in the regulation.
There are always a lot of bans every year, so it seems to me that administrators control all right.

Just a word on that. I play another SIM in which my IP address seems to match another player/s. Matching IP address isn't necessarily a smoking gun. Though I guess if you have fifteen teams with matching IP address....

The technicalities used by the administrators are certainly not to explain them to us.

eh ?
obviously I only have one team, mister sympathy : )

I suggest to you all, not to make other teams because sooner or later they will catch you, as happened to the others.

I know all that. I've been around since season 3. It's just that I never seen almost an entire II tier disappear in a matter of weeks like this.

Cheating teams never stick around long enough to gain anything. I'm also fine with things. If you see something that looks improper, then report it to the admins. They will take a look and if they deem they are cheating, then they will fine and/or boot them. If they don't, then nothing will happen. They never tell any players or mods what the verdict is, what the fine is or if nothing happened at all. The only way we can tell if something happened is if they get the boot. That leaves 2/3rds of the potential verdicts as something we will never know. I'm fine with that

II.2 started with 4 teams (included mine). in the last 2 weeks the other 3 teams disappeared, I didn't checked properly to see if it was last week or a week before ... I just saw this few days ago when I wrote on Romanian forum to "hemoroid".

If you use a VPN to gain access to the internet, then it's entirely feasible, if other people are using the same VPN they will have the same IP address as you. Therefore if they banned a load of teams because they were using the same IP address I'd say there's not enough evidence. But if they are accessing at exactly the same time, it would show it can't be the same person, unless it signalled different browser softwares, which is possible.

However, that coupled with loads of transfers between teams... d'oh!
